Organic, Progressive Cuisine Now Served at The Boulders Resort
Work is under way at The Boulders´ new organic garden that will eventually
generate a variety of produce, herbs and spices to be used in the resort´s
kitchens. Set to debut in October, the expansive, 5,280-square-foot "garden
experience," is landscaped to include naturally-flowing water, a mesquite
burning fireplace and two levels of outdoor dining areas with teak
furnishings. The onsite garden is just another step in the property´s
emphasis on organic foods and cooking. Chef Wendy Little, The Boulders´ chef
de cuisine, has already introduced an all-organic menu at The Boulders´
flagship restaurant, Latilla, while the sommelier can guide you through
the resort´s new Organic Wine List.

New Weekend Golf Getaway Puts "Ladies First"
The Boulders has introduced a new golf program designed specifically for
women. The "Ladies First" experience - limited to four women per
session - combines three days of instruction and social activities, and
is an ideal option for sisters or friends seeking a girl's getaway
weekend. The Ladies First program begins Friday evening on the
driving range with margaritas, chips, salsa and a short game
instruction. On Saturday and Sunday, two hours of instruction
focus on full-swing, putting and course management. A round of
golf and welcome gift are also included in the package. Ladies
First is offered twice per month, weekends only.
