The Spotted Donkey Cantina
Experience the lively atmosphere and unique food at The Spotted Donkey Cantina at El Pedregal. Choose from a menu of Mexican classics and 46 varieties of Tequila while sitting outside in the large patio underneath the Arizona sky.
The fresh, healthy and balanced meals prepared by Chef Neal Hall at the Waldorf Astoria Spa Café are made from regional ingredients and fresh herbs harvested daily from our own certified organic garden whenever possible.
Prickly Pear Celebration
The native cacti, bearing prickly pear fruit, have also multiplied over the years and the resort chefs anticipate picking more than 50 pounds of ripe prickly pear. To celebrate the harvest, throughout the month of October, the resort’s restaurants and bars will be incorporating freshly-harvested prickly pear fruit (and its tart juice) in everything from breakfast syrups and glazing to the signature Prickly Pear Smoothies.
