Explore the beautiful Sonoran Desert on your terms…

Hiking

Explore the scenic Sonoran Desert by going hiking with an experienced guide. Learn about local plants, animals, geology, and history — while burning lots of calories! A variety of treks are available, from modest rolling desert to challenging mountain terrain. Hiking shoes are recommended, but any sturdy athletic footwear will do. Wearing a hat is a good idea. We’ll supply a waist pack, water bottle, and transportation. Contact our concierge at 480.488.7317 for more information.

McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park

McDowell Sonoran Perserve

Explore a living treasure you will never forget. Scottsdale’s McDowell Sonoran Preserve encompasses 27,800 acres with more than 100 miles of trails, including the spectacular McDowell Mountains – a truly stunning sight when visiting at sunset.

Bartlett Lake Hiking

Bartlett Lake has two hiking trails: the Palo Verde Trail, and Jojoba Trail. Both have negligible altitude gain and offer spectacular views of the Lake. The desert trails get dangerously hot in the summer months so it’s best to go early and stock up on lots of water.
